JENNA COLEMAN LEAVING DOCTOR WHO TO BECOME A QUEEN


The Doctor is loosing another companion. Jenna Coleman is quiting time travel and taking the Tardis for one final ride.

During an interview with BBC Radio 1 she stated that her time on Doctor Who has come to an end and that her final episode will air during Season 9.

“I have left the Tardis -- it’s happened. I’ve filmed my last scenes,"






                     

Shortly after Coleman also took to Tweeted "Adventures to last me a lifetime. Thank you @bbcdoctorwho. But as they say 'It ain't over till it's over.


Jenna has served as the Doctor's companion since 2012 as Clara Oswald. She has played the companion to the eleventh and twelfth incarnations of the Doctor in the science fiction series Doctor Who.

Her next project as reported by The Mirror will be staring in a new ITV series that chronicles the reign of Queen Victoria. The eight part epic will chronicle the early years of the Queen during her 63 year reign.

After the new broke said in a statement "I am delighted to be cast as Queen Victoria in this ambitious drama of her life,"

"She is a vivid, strong, inspirational and utterly fascinating woman in British history and I can't wait to tell her story."

The ninth season of Doctor Who will start September 19th.
