SUPERGIRL COMING TO THE BIG SCREEN?

I came across this rumor that I thought is very interesting, Heroic Hollywood is reporting an unconfirmed rumor regarding an incarnation of Supergirl will might be appearing in the potential sequel to the 2013 film: Man of Steel sequel.

According to the article a plot was pitched to the brass at Warner Bros by Zack Snyder and David Goyer. This plot would be basically outlines that Brainiac after Kara Zor-El for the codex of her Kryptonian genes.

The plot's outline also outlines that that Brainiac would create Bizarro based on the currently codex information he has which is incomplete. The created Bizarro to go after Superman and Supergirl for the missing codex information. Again this rumor is unconfirmed but more than likely if this rumor turns out to be true Warner Bros would have someone else play the role. Currently

The first to play the role of Supergirl was Helen Slater in Supergirl (1984). The film was a spinoff from the early Superman franchise. The next live action appearance of Kara was portrayed by Laura Vandervoort in the seventh season of Smallville (2007-2008). Supergirl would next appear in several animated features and TV shows such as Superman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited and Superman/Batman: Apocalypse. Further information regarding Supergirl in other media can be found here.

CBS is premiering a series that would spotlight Kara in Supergirl. The trailer for the TV series can be seen here and six minutes of footage here. The new Supergirl series will premiere October 26.

So what do you think? Comment below on what are your thoughts on the rumor.
